Interweaving materials of book-making, everyday materials and gestures of both familiarize the process. When looking at a finished book made by an individual attentive to every detail, it is likely to assume that one is not capable of achieving this quality of work. By breaking down the process in a way that is not explanatory, I believe that one is able to have a better sense of how a book is made. We experience video and books similarly because they are both dependent on time. The video demonstrates the quality of bookbinding as both a visual and tactile experience.
